PSL Starter Kit Program 2023

What

PSL Starter Kit program empowers community volunteers to participate at home, in the classroom, or in a community setting with basic necessary supplies to ignite curiosity in this act of writing letters to those that are facing adversity all across the country. Ample enclosed instruction will encourage them to participate and attend a Virtual Volunteer Event that can guide them further.

  6. small manila parcel envelopes (for mailers)
  7. ready-made cards (2 per kit)

  1. origami paper/instructions to make a heart

  3. paper cut-out shapes
  4. printed materials (PSL stickers, PSL Love Slips, PSL Love Template, PSL instructions, craft ideas)
  5. Postage Stamps (4 per starter kit)
  6. Large Envelope for Starter Kit Packaging (9×12 manila envelopes)

When

These kits will be ready to be distributed to volunteers in June 2023. To sign-up for a Starter Kit fill out a Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement (English or Spanish) and request to pick-up a Starter Kit in Jackson, WY.

Pick-up Location

Mention your name and they can check your name off the list, or if you are interested in the kit and haven’t signed up yet you can do it by scanning the QR code provided.

Teton Valley

Valley of the Tetons/Makerspace

Starting June 20th, you can pick-up your kit at the Makerspace in Driggs.

Jackson

A very special thanks to One 22 for translating our instructions to broaden our reach of love and kindness. Artists that helped contribute to this Starter Kit: Nicolette Maw, Do Something Kreative, Connie Weineke, Payton’s Perspective, Burton Design, Barking Goat Studios, Swope’s Mountain Photography, Nicole Tafoya, and Holly Sage Art.

We are pleased to be able to help support these amazing artists in our area. We are also so pleased to announce the winners of our Art Contest: 1st place: “Arty” by Mandy Greear in Seattle, WA, 2nd place: “Love is Free” by Kia Mosenthal in Victor, ID, and 3rd place: “Love is Blooming” by Laurie Marshall in Huntington Beach, CA.

We are also so pleased to announce the winners of the Kids category:
1st place: “Love is Kind” by Lola Strayer, 8 in Driggs, ID, 2nd place: “Love is Fierce” by Liam Hussey, 8 in Overland, KS, and 3rd place: “Love is Dogs” by Mayra Ayala, 15 in Jackson, WY.
