PSL Summer Challenge 2021

People Spread Love (PSL) is challenging our volunteers to a “PSL Summer Challenge” to host a “Meet & Make” event whether it be virtual or in-person before the end of August 2021. The pandemic has forced us to do some reflecting on life and what’s important. Spreading love and compassion is continually on the top of that list for our PSL community. The sun is shining, the vaccinations are circulating and the kids are out of school.

A “Meet & Make” event is a community gathering where friends and family come together to write notes of love to recipients on People Spread Love’s Who Needs Love list. We are so excited about having more events in-person/virtually and want to urge our volunteers to do the same. Your event can be public or private, in-person or online, small or large… it doesn’t matter, they all count.

Our PSL Team will be hosting a special kick-off virtual “Happy Hour” on Thursday, June 17 at 5pm MDT and again at 7 pm MDT to share details on the challenge. We will be  sharing  stories of what has worked for us in past events, welcome your suggestions and feedback,  and answer any questions that might come up.  We encourage you to share your photos or videos of your event with us.  PSL will feature you and your event on our website and our social media platforms. Use the hashtag: #pslsummerchallenge so we can all follow along with your fun-loving summer events.

We had a bit of technical difficulties trying to make Facebook Live work out but we have recorded this call so you can replay this at any point. Heather DeVine and Tara Meade introduces the “PSL Summer Challenge.” We share ideas and how easy it is to host your own events no matter your level of comfort. Michele Cabral joined in on the call and was a pure delight to see and hear.
