When you hear the words “care package” it really does translate. The words are simple:
care:
feel concern or interest; attach importance to something.
package:
an object or group of objects wrapped in paper or plastic, or packed in a box.
When someone is going through something, it’s only natural for the need to do something. Some people feel love through food or sometimes just things that hold meaning for them. Here at People Spread Love we are testing out this language of love through care packages.
Now when you request love through our website we ask you now:
“Would you like to also request a ‘care package’ to this individual?
If so, we ask for you to tell us what they would like in that package. Things they’d love and appreciate. We appreciate your help contributing to the cost of this package. Suggested donation = $20 – 50+ so we can put a lot of love and energy into this package. We will always try to shop locally to get the care package prepared.
Shopping local is huge for so many and here in Jackson Hole it’s so important. Frankly, we all want to put our money back into our local economy to help it thrive and grow. People Spread Love is always so pleased to collaborate with our local businesses.
We have successfully put together our first care package to a local Jacksonite that almost died doing what she loves to do every winter and that’s skiing. Not only that but we wanted to show some love to her hero that helped dig her out of the snow that saved her life after being buried completely for 15 minutes.
