Alice Herz-Sommer , a Holocaust Survivor Focuses on the Good

Everyday in life is beautiful, everyday

Alice Herz-Sommer shares her journey as a Holocaust Survivor and pianist and how she’s learned that bad things happen but so do the good things and she prefers to focus on the good. She raised her son in a concentration camp always with a smile on her face. She was a born optimist. Humanity can learn so much by her living example.

“Just thinking of music, makes me happy.
Music is a dream. This was the only thing that helped me have hope.
Music is God.“

Alice passed away in 2014 at the age of 110.
Thanks for your beautiful story and outlook.

With great love & gratitude!
