DIVORCE
Dennis
He went through a divorce, and then got into two back to back relationships. I think think that he needs a reminder that being alone and loving yourself is ok! Also, that as a man it’s ok to be empathic, kind, and caring, and that it doesn’t mean weakness. I think that he also needs to know that no matter what happened in his past, it doesn’t have to hold him back, and he can be whoever he wants in the future
What kind of love do they need?
Self love and showing up for people are the two most important loves out there. I would say that you have to show up for yourself and take accountability for the things that have happened and your role in them, and then move on. I would remind him that he’s a great father, and that his family loves him. I would encourage him to get into things that bring him joy, not what he thinks he’s supposed to be doing, and that kindness to himself and others matter.
What can you tell me about them?
Loves football & basketball. Favorite color is blue. Is a prior marine. Loves dogs, but doesn’t have one at the moment. Likes to exercise, and likes the beach. Has two daughters. Alesha
She’s going through a life transition with her kids leaving the nest, finally accepting her divorce, and re-finding herself. She’s stuck in a rut with the same people that don’t remind her how amazing she is, and she suffers from self confidence issues.
What kind of love do they need?
I would remind her that she can find everything she needs within herself, and that change can be scary but it can also bring peace. And that finding new people can be hard, but it’s worth it. Also, that you’re not defined by how you look, but by who you are and what you do. She says all the time that she feels like she doesn’t know herself and cant make her own decisions, so I would remind her how powerful she is and that she doesn’t need to outsource her decision making to ChatGPT or anyone else!

They need love because life has been really challenging for them. They live with a developmental disability and chronic illness, and they’ve faced anxiety, bullying, hospitalizations, and intensive treatments. Despite all of this, they keep working on themselves through therapy and trying to stay positive. Receiving uplifting mail would remind them that they are not alone, bring a smile to their day, and show that people care.
What kind of love do they need?
They need gentle, uplifting, and encouraging love—words that remind them they are seen, valued, and not alone. Life has been challenging for them, with a developmental disability, chronic illness, anxiety, bullying, hospitalizations, and intensive therapy. Despite all this, they keep trying and working on themselves. Receiving kind and supportive mail would brighten their day, bring a smile, and remind them that people care. I would tell them: You are strong and brave for everything you’ve faced. Even on hard days, you matter and you deserve kindness, joy, and care. Keep going—you are not alone, and there are people who believe in you and want to see you smile.”
What can you tell me about them?
This person is resilient, kind, and courageous. They live with a developmental disability and chronic illness, and despite facing anxiety, bullying, hospitalizations, surgeries, and intensive therapy, they continue to work on themselves and try to stay positive. They have a warm heart and a strong spirit, and even small gestures of kindness—like uplifting mail—mean the world to them. They love feeling connected, supported, and reminded that they are not alone.”They enjoy things that bring comfort and joy, like cozy blankets, cute stationery, uplifting mail, and small thoughtful surprises. They like creative activities, bright colors, and little reminders that the world can be kind and cheerful. They appreciate messages that make them smile, feel supported, or remind them they are not alone, they love animals and wildlife and is a swiftie.

Dusty’s dog, Eli, passed away recently unexpectedly. Eli started acting strange and when Dusty brought him to the vet, a tumor was found on his heart. grief
Kierra
I’m nominating myself. My dad passed away on Mother’s Day this year. Just a few weeks ago.. It was very unexpected and I’ve been struggling tremendously with the weight of it all. Father’s Day was especially difficult. I’m taking it one day at a time but I feel the pain of this loss daily. Any small act of kindness would truly mean a lot and help bring a little light into my day.
What can you tell us about them?
My favorite color is peach. I love spending quiet days outside — being in nature helps me feel more grounded. Lately, finding ways to gently distract myself has been really helpful. I enjoy hiking, fishing, and running — just being outdoors surrounded by trees, water, and open space brings me a sense of calm.
Horses are my truest passion. I don’t have one of my own, but earlier this week I went on a trail ride, and it was such a special experience. Being around them feels healing in a way that’s hard to explain.
I’ve been watching the Twilight movies lately and would love to read the books. Peaceful moments and little acts of self-care have been most comforting when emotions feel overwhelming. Doing relaxing things — even small ones — helps me find a bit of peace.
I’m really grateful for any kindness. Just knowing someone is thinking of me means more than I can say.

TRAUMA
Cooper
On May 31st, Cooper Larsen was involved in a serious motorcycle accident while out riding. He sustained critical injuries and is currently in the hospital receiving intensive care. This has been a devastating and emotional time for Cooper’s loved ones, and his condition remains extremely serious.
Cooper is a strong and resilient person, but he has a long and difficult road ahead of him. As his family stands by his side through every moment, they are facing not only the emotional toll of this tragic event but also significant financial burdens related to medical expenses, time away from work, and ongoing care.
What kind of love do they need?
Cooper is honestly one of the best people I’ve ever known. He’s funny without even trying and he can light up a room just by being in it. He’s got this calm steady way about him that makes everyone feel safe like no matter what’s going on it’s going to be okay if he’s there. He’s loyal to the core, always putting the people he loves before himself. And when he cares about someone he makes sure they feel it even in the smallest ways.
He’s the kind of person who will drop everything if you need him. He’s patient, kind and has the softest heart even if he tries to act all tough sometimes. He’s not loud about how much he cares but you see it in the way he shows up. He doesn’t do things halfway, he gives his full heart to everything and everyone that matters to him. He’s one of the hardest workers I know and he actually loves working which is crazy because not a lot of people can say that. And he loves cars so much. He could spend hours working on them and never get bored. He just lights up when he’s talking about engines or fixing something up. It’s something that really makes him happy.
I don’t know how he does it but even on his worst days he still makes people laugh. That’s just who he is. He’s real and solid and good in a way that’s rare.
People like him don’t come around often. He’s special. And I’m so lucky to know him.
What can you tell us about them?
Cooper loves a lot of things in a way that’s really real. He loves working with his hands and staying busy. He loves cars so much he could spend all day working on them and never get tired of it. He’s always talking about engines or fixing stuff up and you can just tell it makes him happy.
He loves driving and just being on the road it’s something that makes him feel good. He loves his cat Muffin and his dog Olivia. They mean the world to him. You can tell how much he cares about them just by the way he talks about them or looks at them. He loves his family and even if he doesn’t always say it you can see it in everything he does.
He cares a lot and shows it in little ways. He loves making people laugh and being around the people he feels comfortable with. He’s the kind of person who enjoys the simple things and that’s one of the best things about him.

grief
Lisa
My Mother lost my brother to Duchenne’s muscular dystrophy in 2016. Gus was her pride and joy; she tended to him almost 24/7 for most of his life. When he finally passed, a void of that love was created. I haven’t always been the best son, on the right track, or there for her the way I needed to be. But I know that someone’s love and maybe someone else who has had a child with a life-ending disease or challenge in general that she could hear from and relate to would go a long way in brightening up her day.

SUPPORT
Meghan
I have 3 children with my narcissistic ex-husband. He has been poisoning their minds about me for the last decade. When the kids were young they used to come crying to me telling me the stuff their dad says but that they cannot plug their ears otherwise they get in trouble.
I’ve really tried to parent and raise them right regardless of this. It hasn’t worked and they hate me. They wish for me to die, call me names and cursing in my face. I try to keep a cool but my oldest called me a very vulgar name and as he has graduated and is 18 I had him leave my home. Now the other 2 are behaving similar and it’s getting harder and harder to be their mom with such hatred, God knows I’ve tried.
I have had multi organ falling for months now spending multiple days in the multiple with multiple visits they just get upset if I ask them to do anything.
After I left my ex husband I bought a house so the kids would always have a home. They have no respect for it and goes so far to say that me not cleaning or cooking (just that multiple organ failure thing) should be against the law. I don’t want to live like this. I want to be healthy and go to work and take care of my house and everything in it. I want my kids happy and healthy and respectful. I’m just so tired.
What kind of love do they need?
I could use prayers and advice on how to navigate parenting teenagers from a split household. Bonus if one parent is a classic narcissist.
