SUMMARY:Community Unity Suicide Prevention Walk
DESCRIPTION:As part of National Suicide Prevention Awareness month, the Community Prevention Coalition of Teton County (CPCTC) invites the public to participate in the third annual community walk for suicide prevention and awareness on September 20th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The walk will take place around the Teton County School District’s William T. McIntosh Stadium, the Athletic Field and Track, located at 1235 Gregory Lane. Registration is not necessary for this free community event.\nThere will be free food, music, creative arts, informational booths, mental health resources, and guidance on how to support friends and family members who may be struggling. Walk in remembrance of a loved one lost to suicide or for a loved one’s suicide attempt. No dogs are allowed on the Stadium’s track or fields unless it’s a service animal.\nFor more information about the event please visit, www.tetoncountywy.gov/cuspwalk.\n\n\nIf you or someone you know is struggling right now, reach out for support. You can always call or text 988 for free and confidential support 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If you aren’t comfortable talking on the phone, you can chat the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988lifeline.org.
