People Spread Love began in 2015 with grassroots beginnings with the pure loving and compassionate volunteers behind it all. We are seeking Board Members to join the PSL Team. Since we are now a 501c3 nonprofit organization since 2021 we are looking to the opportunities to expand and to extend our efforts of spreading love and kindness we are looking for more individuals to join the ranks of PSL.
Mission:
People Spread Love empowers community members to write notes of love to people facing adversity nationwide and globally.
Description:
People Spread Love is looking for Board Members that care deeply about community connection and values the success of how PSL shows up to bridge communities through volunteerism, in-classroom programs, and public events. PSL advocates for mental health support and gun safety, encouraging health relationships so we can thrive as a community.
Desired Skills:

Experience with the non-profit sector is ideal but not required. The curiosity to learn and grow in this role.
We prefer applicants are in the Jackson, WY region or Teton Valley, ID. Remote applicants will also be considered.
Commitment:
- Believes in what People Spread Love (PSL) stands for;
- Centralized in human connection/community
- Cultivates inclusivity (acceptance of all beliefs, culture, creed, race and identity)
- Advocates for mindful nonviolent communication
- Has the time to carve out PSL in their calendars (Board Meetings – renamed “Love Meetings”) every other month.
- If located in Jackson Hole/Teton Valley area, always looking for Board Member participation at events/gatherings committed to attend two in-person event per year.

- Comfortable with making a monetary donation (scalable and completely up to the individual) to PSL once a the year.
- Must sit on a committee (event, volunteer, finance, etc)
- Bring yourself to the table with your strengths. Only doing what you feel comfortable with but willing to learn new things and challenge yourself.
